Spanish village seeks a family with children

spanishvillagebufaliWhile Europe ponders what to do with the refugees on its shores, a village in Spain is advertising for a family with at least two children.

Bufali, in rural Valencia, has a population of some 150 people, but there are concerns that its only school will have to close because there are only four students there. Two of the pupils are destined to leave the school next year.

It is offering not only a house but also a job to a family willing to relocate there as long as they have two children to attend classes at the school.

Bufali’s town hall said it will offer the family a house with a rent of €200 and a permanent job at a waste collection company which has an annual salary of €15,000.

Applications have already come in from dozens of families from around Spain. Personal interviews will be held to chose the family, according to a local newspaper.
