Ronaldo makes more history

ronaldoPortugal’s own Cristiano Ronaldo has made history by becoming Real Madrid’s joint top scorer of all time.

On Wednesday he scored two goals in the 2-0 Champions League win over Malmo.

These goals brought him up to Raul’s record of 323 goals for the team, although Raul has played some 400 more games for Real Madrid than Ronaldo has.

Ronaldo’s two goals on the night also kicked him into the league of those with 500 career goals.

But the three-time World Player of the Year has refused to say where his future lies, saying repeatedly that the future is not known.

"I am happy here, I want to win things here. I feel good, but as I have said millions of times no one knows what will happen in the future," the star said on Spanish radio.

"We will see what happens tomorrow but at this moment in time I am happy at Real Madrid," he added.

"I have to achieve things here, I feel good, I want to win things with Real Madrid because I think this club has potential to win things, but I don't know what will happen in the future."

The future may not be known, but rumours are not short on where the 30-year-old may next perform, including a return to Manchester United where he played between 2003 and 2009 before his €80 million transfer to Madrid.

Other rumours point to a more to Paris Saint Germain or even Major League Soccer in the US.
