Paris to Faro route boosted

eiffeltowerThe thousands of tax-shy French moving to the Algarve now have more choice and can opt to fly directly to Faro from Paris on an air service run by Aigle Azur.

The route is not a new one for this airline, Aigle Azur started flights from Paris to Faro in 2008, but it now operates all-year-round due to the rise in demand from French tourists visiting the sun, and those in Portugal who are romantically inclined using the Thursday to Sunday option for a romantic lomg weekend in Paris.

"The new scheduled service is strengthening the company in the principal markets in which it operates, and will ensure winter connectivity to the Algarve region, one of its most attractive markets, with magnificent beaches, landscapes and golf courses," says airline spokesman, clearly in tune with the Algarve’s many benefits.

The rest of the corporate waffle says that the new flights "will strengthen and intensify the close and lasting relationship with the airline and marks a frank focus of our infrastructure in the Algarve region."

What else can one say about a new flight timetable?

From Faro, Ryanair flies to a large field in Beauvais, a mere 75 kilometres north of the ‘City of Light,’ easyJet manages to fly to both Charles de Gaulle and Orly; Transavia France also flies to Orly, so take your pick if you fancy a city break in the capital of France.
