The Judicial Police have arrested three men in connection with the gunning down of a Romanian in Almancil.
The 18-year-old died from shotgun blasts fired from a moving car last Saturday night. Three cartridges had been discharged.
The victim, a Romanian national, was targeted in the revenge attack as it is claimed by police that he had duped those arrested.
The PJ revealed that the reason for the murder was the lack of payment of an unspecified amount for the supply of hashish.
The police also seized two vehicles and mobile phones.
"The detainees, aged between 21 and 26 years old, will be present at the first court hearing for the application of appropriate enforcement measures," concluded the PJ whose officers have acted swiftly and decisively.
