German auto manufacturer VW said it is to recall some 800,000 vehicles worldwide due to a potential foot pedal problem.

More than half of the vehicles are the Porsche Cayenne built from 2011 to 2016 and the remainder are the Toureg model.

Portugal’s airport workers union (SITAVA) agreed in Faro today the new groundhandling deal with Ryanair is "illegal and fraudulent."
