Global destination, Quinta do Lago, has been named as the ‘World’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue’ during a hugely successful night at the 2024 World Golf Awards which saw the resort take home a trio of accolades.
The illustrious annual World Golf Awards, which reward excellence in the golf tourism market, were hosted on the island of Madeira at Savoy Palace from Savoy Signature on Friday, November 22.
The Portuguese destination fought off fierce competition to land the award of ‘World’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue’ for the first time ever, which acknowledges the resort as the ideal setting to buy property to both enjoy life while simultaneously guaranteeing a return on investment.

The iconic South Course has also once again taken home the honour of Portugal’s Best Golf Course, the fourth successive year it has received the award since undergoing a €7million upgrade.
The award win will come as no shock to those familiar with the par-72 design, which has hosted the Portuguese Open on eight occasions. The course is also a regular venue for the Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship – with the latest edition of the ‘Unofficial Major of Junior Golf’ taking place at Quinta do Lago next month.
