Legalising Euthanasia In Portugal - Are You For Or Against It?

Without any doubts of any kind, I am passionately FOR properly monitored euthanasia and assisted-suicide - as someone who has helplessly watched the tortured terminal phase of the most beloved mother. Having pulled the plug 3 times, it was only the fear of legal retribution which prevented me from ending her days - to my life-long shame and guilt. I am particularly affronted by so-called religious pronouncements, which have delayed the inevitable by several decades, despite Christ's pleas for compassion.
