Neil Connolly, the Director of Coaching at the Cascade Performance Golf Academy, has qualified to play in the Madeira Open. The tournament is part of the European Tour, and is the second most famous tournament in Portugal. The tournament takes place in Madeira from the 8th to the 11th of May. The event will again form part of both The European and Challenge Tour Schedules, with the €100,000 first prize counting towards The Race to Dubai.
Connolly, having relocated to the Algarve in October 2013 to open the Performance Academy at Cascade Wellness & Lifestyle Resort, is clearly delighted with the inclusion into such a prestigious event. He is recently quoted as saying:
“This is a very exciting opportunity for me to put the Academy on the map, represent the PGA of Portugal and get in some high level competition”.
