Professional Football Club Fulham FC choose the Amendoeira Sports Club as their training camp in the Algarve, Portugal.
Amendoeira Golf Resort welcomed Fulham FC for an eight night pre-season training camp. The players and management team stayed in the luxurious accommodation at the Amendoeira Golf Resort and enjoyed exclusive use of the training facilities including a full size natural grass football pitch.
Whilst on a warm weather training camp in Portugal, the English football team Fulham FC had some friendly matches arranged by Gary Hobson (FIFA and UEAFA match agent) for extra preparation. The first was against another English team Millwall and took place on Tuesday 7th July with an 11am kick off, at Amendoeira Sports Club. The heat shortened the match to a 60 minute game and a tie for final score.
On Saturday 11th July with a 6.30pm kick off Fulham played Aston Villa FC at the Estádio da Nora, in Ferreiras, Algarve. Kit Simons (First Team Manager for the Fulham FC) ended his tour squad on a high in a hard-fought pre-season victory over Aston Villa by 3:1.

Between friendly matches, Fulham FC trained on the natural grass football pitch at the Amendoeira Sports Club, with the gymnasium and free weights areas available for their exclusive use to ensure privacy. Meals were specifically catered for in-line with the team’s nutritional requirements at the stunning clubhouse overlooking the two championship golf courses: the Oceânico Faldo Course and Oceânico O’Connor Jnr. course.
