And obviously you’ll use Google Ads because, in this digital world, there is no way to deny its efficiency, right?! But as soon as you sign in and start preparing the campaign, you realise that none of the promotion options suggested by Google Ads fit into what you want. Ah, the disappointment... Now what?
Did you know that in the Google Ads extensions you can create our own fully personalised promotion extension? These will only need to be entered manually. Let us tell you how to do it:
1. Sign in to your Google Ads account;
2. Access the Ads & extensions page menu and click Extensions at the top;
3. Click the blue “+” button and select Promotion extension;
4. Choose whether you want to add the promotion extension to your account, campaign, or ad group;
5. Click None in Occasion and create a custom extension;
6. Select the Language, Currency, and Promotion type (cash discount or discount percentage);
7. Enter the Item’s name for the product or service you are offering;
8. Enter the Final URL that you want to be shown in your ad;
9. Select the type of Offer and enter any requirements for your promotion, such as a special code or a spending limit;
10. In Promotion dates, you can enter the dates in which you want your promotion extension to be shown in the ad or ads.
And that's it! Now you can go ahead and advertise that give away or special campaign, which is running on your website or store, in your Google Ads Ads, visible to your chosen target audience. Happy promotions!
