Every week I discover new things in the Algarve, and have been doing so for six years. This beautiful region has so much to offer that I don't know of any other place that offers such a variety of activities.
Whether you like walking, culture, gastronomy or adventure, the Algarve has it all. And if you like walking, you've come to the right place. You can take fantastic walks here, such as the famous Fishermen's Trail, which winds along the breathtaking coastline.
I am very happy to be here and discover all these wonders. The best part is that I can share my tips with you and make everyone happy. Over the past month I had the opportunity to try out a lot of fun things, and I would like to share that with you.
Volunteer at Lagos Horse Riding & Rescue Centre
One of the most special experiences recently was my volunteer work at a horse shelter in Lagos: the Lagos Horse Riding & Rescue Centre. It is incredibly rewarding work to help and care for these beautiful animals. Plus, it's a great way to connect with other animal lovers and learn more about the local community.
The Discovery of The Beach Club in Ferragudo
I also discovered the “place to be”: the beach club of Ferragudo. Imagine yourself in an Ibiza atmosphere in the beautiful Algarve. This place is beautifully decorated, has a fantastic kitchen, comfortable sunbeds by the pool and breathtaking views. Definitely put Edd's Beach on your list when you are in the Algarve!
New Kayak Tours and Culinary Discoveries
We also have a number of new, beautiful kayak tours online. Discovering the Algarve from the water is a unique experience that I can recommend to everyone. For more information and bookings, check this link to our kayak tours.
A culinary discovery this month was the delicious Pão de queijo, cheese balls from Brazil. These little delicacies are highly recommended for every gourmet.
Wine Tasting Jeep Tour from Albufeira
Another great experience was the wine tasting jeep tour from Albufeira. During this tour you will cross picturesque villages, orange groves and dense forests of cork oaks. You'll get to know the Algarve's secret gems, enjoy sublime panoramic views along paths through hills and valleys, and even swim in a local river. Plus, you'll visit a local winery to taste four different wines, homemade jams, cheese and smoked ham. An absolute must for wine lovers and adventurers! View more information here .
Keep Discovering and Sharing
In the meantime, I'm still trying to surf, because I bought a surfboard a while ago. I would also like to swim more, because I have always enjoyed doing that. I try to maintain my social life and have already been invited to other restaurants, beach clubs and activities to experience them and share them with you.
Life in the Algarve is never boring, and I look forward to exploring more and sharing my adventures with you. Keep following me for the latest tips and experiences from this beautiful region. Until next time!
