Organized by the reporter Fernanda Almeida, author and poet Dina Salústio, known for her books on local culture, who has received many literary prizes, and Ana Sofia Fonseca, known for her books for children, presented their views on the culture of Cape Verde.

Ana´s film on the famous singer CESARIA EVORA was shown, a documentary which took five years to complete, plenty of research and old 8mm footage.

The municipal library in Lagos is arranging plenty of activities for both children and grown-ups, in order to raise the cultural engagement of the population, not only of that county, but of the whole Algarve.
