The RIDE TO ALJEZUR on May 15th organised by Hans and Alex started from Silves and headed west, via Odalouca and Rasmalho to Casais and along to Restaurante Abrigo de Serra in Gralho for a coffee break.
ith Hans leading this section included his now traditional "U Turn'' after missing a left turn to Casais.
The next part of the route included a short section of rough forest road, which was a good test for the strength of the bikes, and probably more of a test for some of the riders, but all arrived back on the tarmac without any mishaps.
In Aljezur some of the group tackled the tricky steep road up to the castle before returning to the terrace of the Abrigo da Serra with great mountain views and Chicken Piri Piri for lunch.
