On March 24th, the Rotary Club of Faro held a tribute ceremony honoring two distinguished figures in the fields of culture and healthcare: Maestro Pablo Urbina, recognized as Professional of the Year, and Dr. Carla Mendonça, awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The ceremony took place in a setting of strong institutional dignity and was attended by representatives of several Rotary clubs from across the Algarve, members of the local
municipality, as well as family members and invited guests of the honorees.
The event was further enriched by a brief musical performance by two young talents, reinforcing its cultural dimension.
In his speech, Maestro Pablo Urbina—whose career has gained international recognition—highlighted the importance of Rotary’s support throughout his journey, emphasizing the organization’s role in fostering talent and artistic development.
