The motorcycle riders of the Algarve Senior Bikers celebrated the 6th year of the group's existence on June 10th with a special lunch at Restaurante O Hamburgo, in Benafim.
Two groups, one from the west and one from east met in Lagos and São Brás de Alportel and followed different routes across the Algarve to meet in Benafim, north of Loule, for lunch.
The lead riders were Bris Phillips and Mike Bristow starting from Sao Bras de Alportel, and David Shirley and Joachim Heinsen starting from Lagos.
Fellow biker Manuel, the owner of Restaurant O Hamburgo in Benafim, provided an excellent lunch which was followed by Celebration Cakes made by Dee Shirley.
David Shirley, who started the ASB in 2010, thanked all the members for joining the rides. The ASB now has over 170 members and is still growing.
