On March 7, starting at 2:00 PM, Zephyr Gallery, located in the historic center of Silves, will present the artist Alicja Zmigrodzka (aka A A A A A) with an exhibition of a selection of exclusive works for the gallery’s new art season.
On this occasion, visitors are invited to an intimate conversation with the artist, accompanied by a glass of local wine in a relaxed atmosphere.
From her studio in Olhão, the artist develops mixed media works that explore themes such as identity, spiritual presence, and transformation. Working primarily with acrylic and oil on
canvas, she creates portraits, seascapes, and botanical compositions characterized by a vibrant palette — with turquoise and neon pink in the spotlight — and an atmosphere that is
both contemplative and intense.
Her work celebrates the feminine and challenges social and gender boundaries, offering visual reflections on authenticity and change. This presentation marks the inclusion of another unique voice in the gallery’s portfolio of artists.
Opened in March 2025, Zephyr Gallery is an independent space dedicated to contemporary art, showcasing artists who have chosen Portugal as a place of creation and residence.
Situated in the heart of Silves, the gallery hosts exhibitions and intimate cultural events that strengthen the connection between art and community.
