Members of the Algarve Senior Bikers braved the cold winds and enjoyed their ride to Odemira in the lower Alentejo. The ride was organised by Stan Green and Martin Taylor. Unfortunately Martin was unable to take part having to return to the U.K. due to urgent family commitments.
The group was divided into two due to the large amount of riders taking part, and David Shirley took Martin's place. The ride was led by Stan with the assistance of Dave Longmore and Michael Jensen.
With the weather set to turn cooler at the weekend now is the time start thinking about keeping your pet warm at night. Paws 4 Pets have just taken delivery of a selection of cosy Dog and Cat beds, perfect to curl up in during the cooler winter nights.
The October 8th ride, led and organised by Mike Sanders, started near Boliquieme and headed north through the hills above Salir for coffee at Dogueno before returning south to Faro Island for lunch overlooking the beach.

The Silves based family charity Castelo de Sonhos have just started their annual Back to School project. We have just a few weeks to get everything together for distribution of the filled backpacks, before the kids return to school in September. Please help us if you can.

On June 16th, the Rotary Club Estoi Palace International (RCEPI) and Rotary Club Olhão jointly organized the 7th edition of the White Dinner (“Branco Ao Jantar”), at the wonderfully renovated A Quinta - Eventos, near Santo Estevão.
Rotary Club Estoi Palace International (RCEPI) has played a significant role in supporting families of children with cancer in the Algarve by donating €10,000 to sponsor a dedicated room at the new Acreditar building in Lisbon.
