After ending Black Sabbath’s musical run of 49 years, lead singer Ozzy Osbourne is preparing to do the same with his solo career with a final tour that includes a gig at the Altice Arena next July 2nd.
The British veteran musician lists heavy metal band, Judas Priest, as his support act. Formed in 1969, Judas Priest has sold close on 50 million records.
The Black Sabbath frontman will celebrate "five decades of live performances" at the Altice Arena as part of his solo ‘farewell’ world tour.
This latest Ozzy Osbourne tour will start in Mexico next May and will continue until 2020. The ‘farewell’ billing may be premature as, if he survives the grilling schedule, Osbourne already has hinted that he may perform in the future, "This will be my last tour, but I can not say I'm not going to make a show here or there," Osbourne had stated.
On stage at the Altice Arena, formerly the MEO Arena, Osbourne will be accompanied by Zakk Wylde, Blasko, Tommy Clufetos and Adam Wakeman.
Tickets for the concert at the Altice Arena will go on sale on November 11th at prices ranging from €42 to €89.
Earlier in 2017, Black Sabbath completed a farewell tour, which began in January 2016 and ended in February in the band's hometown of Birmingham, UK.
As for Osbourne’s last 'farewell tour' in 1992, he now refers to the title as “a mistake.”
Tickets for the concert will go on sale from Saturday, priced between €42 and €89.

If this is not heavy enough, Iron Maiden return to Portugal with an appearance at the Altice Arena in Lisbon on July 13, 2018.
The show is part of the Legacy of the Beast world tour, which starts in Estonia on May 26 and will run through various arenas and festivals in Europe.
"We are working on a number of different stages, all according to the Maiden tradition," said Rod Smallwood, the band's manager.
Fans can expect an gig that will focus on a "great selection of material from the 1980s and some surprises from later albums."
Tickets will go on sale Nov. 24, with exclusive pre-ordering for fan club members starting four days earlier. Prices start at €40.
