Portugal is the friendliest country in the world towards immigrants

portugalPortugal is the first in a list of 65 countries that are friendly to immigrants, beating Taiwan and Mexico to the number one spot.

An Inter Nations study, released by Forbes, shows that Portugal has shot up nine places in a year.

The study questioned more than 13,000 people in 188 countries. The parameters used included the local attitude towards immigrants, the ease of making friends and the likelihood of immigrants remaining in the country.

Portugal is up nine places thanks to the excellent reviews from expatriates and views from travellers through Portugal, of whom 47% would like to stay.

Kuwait is last, considered the least friendly country towards immigrants where the "anti-expatriates" feeling is increasing among the locals.

Number four is Cambodia followed by Bahrain, Costa Rica, Oman, Columbia, Vietnam and in tenth place, Canada.

"Golden Triangle Catering"]Portuguese people are not friendly I have lived here ten years and do not have one Portuguese friend. They are rude and obnoxious do not like any people not from Portugal. The Algarve Portuguese are the worst look down at you not interested for us to get to know them they just like our Euros and then off they go. Portuguese from the North are more sociable.

Do you speak Portugese, do you smile when you talk, are you approachable... things to think about, as they affect how people see us.

I wonder what came first, the decision to expel Russian diplomats from various NATO countries or the incident in Salisbury? Why would Portugal expel Russian diplomats when the British government have offered no proof of Russian involvement. Unless you just want to take May's word for it!!

When you think of Britain nowadays, You tend to think of Russian oligarchs and their takeover of a major swaiths of the London property market. It's now known as Londongrade and what use to be Belgrave Square is now Red Square. Russia could turn out to be Britain's best friend in the future, so Mrs May might be wise to not upset the Russian apple cart too much.
By the way, Portugal is the friendliest country in the world.

Especially to Russian diplomats apparently!

Expelling diplomats but absolutely no action on the dirty money that floods into the UK from Russia. McMafia is alive and well!!!!!

Portugal is just a puppet to Russia at the moment. What's the point of a Union when Portugal acts to be different, for no other reason than it's hiding and accepting Russian Roubles to shore up it's mountainous debt. Don't ask for support on the international stage.. because you won't get any.

Rather than criticising we should praise the fact that Portugal is one of the friendliest and least racist countries on the planet.

I am sure they are friendly, but as for paying immigrants their wages I have heard some not friendly stories on how the Portuguese behave
