The Algarve business community and thousands of private clients have been shocked to hear the news of Peter Rextrew's death.
The Chief Executive of PremierFX, the foreign exchange company Peter founded in Almancil and which later expanded into offices in the UK and Mallorca, died on 16th June after a period of poor health.
An operation proved unsuccessful and Peter passed away peacefully in hospital in Lisbon.
Peter, a stickler for detail and his Premier FX team had time to make certain that everything was in place to ensure absolute continuity for the business and for clients in the event of such circumstances.
Premier FX's Managing Director, Nick Jones, deeply saddened by the loss of an astute businessman and personal friend, said of the business, "the company is in extremely good shape, and it’s business as usual as far as our clients and services are concerned.
"Peter's family and our team are completely focused on delivering a personal and seamless service, something which was of paramount importance to him. We are all receiving tremendous support from so many people, and the partners on whom our business depends."

Steve not sure if you saw the Sky News broadcast yesterday but my wife and I put our heads above the parapet to try and get more publicity for the hundreds of customers who have lost money. We are part of a small group of victims (Not on facebook) who are gathering evidence. It would be most appreciated if you could make contact. You could PM me if you use facebook messenger. Many thanks Bryn
