The Algarve is included in the areas of Portugal that can expect rough sea conditions, rain and high winds, until Wednesday afternoon.
An orange warning has been issued by the weather service which warns also of snow in the Guarda district where the maximum temperature will struggle to reach 6° Celsius.
As for the rain, the strongest showers will come tomorrow, Wednesday October 31st.
Snowfall is expected for areas above 1,000 metres and there will be bitingly cold winds in high areas and along the coast.
The maximum temperatures will vary between Guarda, which at its predicted low of 6º C is well below the 17º C expected at Sagres in the Algarve.
On Tuesday, in the Algarve, the sun will come out but nighttime temperatures will stay between 10°c and 12°C all week with more rain expected from next Monday onwards.
Daytime highs will vary between 19°C and 21°C across the Algarve region, bringing some temporary relief to this generally cold period.
