Quoting Hamilton:
Portugal's own waters have been fished out, hence the warning by international fish stock scientists to cut right back on fishing by anyone in Portuguese waters.

That would be true if the Portuguese waters were in a fish tank, but since it is part of the Atlantic ocean and fish are migratory it is unlikely that the Portuguese coast is going to run out of fish. The rest of the comment is your usual drivel, at least you're consistent.

The idea that UK is responsible when it comes to fishing is quite a new one. Does anyone remember the cod wars off Iceland? When UK disputed the right of Iceland to control the fish stocks within its 200 mile limit? The last Cod War ended in 1976, and now UK struggles to protect its own waters.

Fish hard to satisfy the tourists that are inbound over the next few months. Crash the fish stocks..make money..fish for today..never mind the future. Portugal is simply an unsustainable chunk of land depleted of any natural resource and soon to turn into desert both on land and in thensea. Forca.

Only the hardest of all Brexits - resulting in an anti global, insular, isolated Britain - will allow UK to own its waters. Let's not forget the tax heavens the UK has invented and protected fleecing Continental Europe of valuable tax income resulting in social hardship to the benefit of the few rich often residing in London. Pain measured in headcount of the UK fishermen easily outnumbered by a factor of 1000.

How much of this fishing was in UK waters and a major driver for Brexit? Portugal's own waters have been fished out, hence the warning by international fish stock scientists to cut right back on fishing by anyone in Portuguese waters. Portugal now planning to start clearing out Angolan waters of their fish.
