easyProperty is intent on shaking up the property market.
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou who introduced easyJet in 1995 is now tackling the market with the launch of easyProperty, and aspires to work his magic on it in the same way he did on travel.
A holding website for the company has been registered at easyproperty.com, where Sir Stelios vows to “shake up the UK property market to make buying, selling, renting and letting simple, quick and cost-effective”.
Described as a new online property platform, its intention is to make property transactions straightforward.
The site also promises to “aggressively slash estate agency fees”.
The Greek-Cypriot billionaire is working with Robert Ellice who formerly ran an estate agency, Clarke Hillyer in Essex.
Details are scant at the moment, but it is believed that more information will announced in the summer.
