Finanças warn of fake SMS and Email messages

FINANÇAS WARN OF FAKE SMS AND EMAIL MESSAGESThe Tax and Customs Authority have issued a new security alert about fraudulent emails and text messages (SMS) that are being sent to taxpayers, the third since the beginning of the year.

In the case of the 'fake' emails, the taxpayer is told that he is entitled to a tax refund and asked to click on a certain link to receive the amount. This is NOT legitimate - the link should not be clicked on.

In the 'fake' text messages (SMS), the taxpayer is told they have a tax debt to be paid, and the reference and entity number for payment via Multibanco is given. This is NOT legitimate - payment should not be made.

These are all “false” messages that “must be ignored,” warn the AT, “their objective is to convince the recipient to access malicious pages by clicking on the suggested links or to make improper payments”.

If you need to speak to the Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira, you can telephone 217 206 707, from Monday to Friday between 09:00H and 19:00H, or visit https://sitfiscal.portaldasfinancas.gov.pt

Quoting David:
Shame on them for not also advising of the fake media and government 'pandemic' campaign and its associated depopulation 'vaccines' and digital ID slavery system.

The article is about the tax authorities. You probably didn't notice in your haste to post more nonsense.
