The Municipality of Silves and the Agrupamento de Escolas de Silves recently signed a collaboration protocol, for the implementation of a Specialised Technological Center at the Silves Secondary School, to be financed by the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The Câmara de Silves say that the objective is to "increase the response capacity of the educational and training systems, to combat social and gender inequalities and increase the resilience of employment, especially for young people and adults with low qualifications", within the scope of the modernisation and rehabilitation of their existing facilities and infrastructure, plus the acquisition of new technological educational resources (equipment).
With the approval of this application, the Silves Specialised Technological Center will be one of 365 Specialised Technological Centers to be implemented throughout the country between 2022 and 2025.
