“This update is carried out at a time when the majority of the eligible population, within the scope of the 2022-2023 seasonal vaccination campaign, is vaccinated”, said the DGS in a statement, adding that, since September, more than three million doses have already been administered mostly to priority eligible groups, over 50 years of age, which contributed to "mitigating the impact of severe disease in higher risk groups".

The “Open House” modality is also available for primary vaccination against covid-19 for children aged 12 years and over, and for adults over 18 for booster vaccination against Covic-19.
