Four people amazingly came away with just minor injuries after a collision between two light vehicles yesterday afternoon, on the EN125 at the entrance to Tavira, heading towards Vila Real de Santo António.
According to Arenilha TV, “the accident took place in an area with a solid white line, next to the 'Ozadi Tavira Hotel' roundabout”.
The victims, three women and a man, were transported to the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve in Faro, suffering from minor injuries.
The rescue operation involved 13 emergency crew, in 6 vehicles, from the Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António Firefighters, INEM, PSP and GNR.
