A fire in downtown Tavira at the weekend, with potential to destroy adjacent buildings, was promptly put out by Tavira firefighters.
The fire, which started in a skip on Saturday night, was extinguished quickly without it having spread to adjacent buildings.
A firefighting team from the Tavira Firefighters was involved in this operation, supported by an urban firefighting vehicle, and also the Public Security Police of Tavira.
The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
