Police are searching for a young man, arrested for thefts here in the Algarve and in his home country of France, after he fled the Court of Olhão yesterday afternoon, through a window.
A picture of the man, in is early 20's, was immediately published on social networks, with hundreds of shares, in the hope of finding the young man swiftly.
The suspect escaped through a window in the Court of Olhão when he realised he was going to be held in custody. He was reportedly detained by the PSP following a simple theft locally, but discovering the man was under an international arrest warrant for thefts in France, police informed the man he would be kept in preventive detention.
The authorities, who have not yet located the young French escapee, ask anyone who sees him to call the PSP or GNR.
