An off duty GNR soldier stepped in to detain a man who threatened another with a knife during argument in Olhão, on Tuesday.
The GNR explains in a statement that, “following an argument between two people near a commercial establishment, in which there were threats using a sharp weapon, the suspect was detained by the GNR soldier.”
The 39 year old man was in the act this Tuesday, for threats using a sharp weapon, in Olhão.
The arrest was made close to the place where the threats had occurred. The GNR soldier was also able to seize the knife used by the detainee.
