Discover the places in the Algarve where PSP radars will be in January. The Faro area is one of those that will also have police focus on speed control in January.
Remember that driving at excessive speeds can be punished by a fine, in addition to the possibility of losing points on your driving license.
In the case of driving a car or motorcycle, if you exceed the speed limits within towns by more than 20 km/h or by more than 30 km/h outside towns, you will be committing a serious offense. Therefore, you will lose 2 points on your driving license.
On the other hand, if you exceed the speed limit by more than 40 km/h within towns and 60 km/h outside towns you will be committing a very serious offense. In this type of situation, the driver is subject to losing 4 points on their driving license. It should be noted that initially each driver has 12 points on their driving license.
