The Municipality of Faro recently installed computers, monitors and interactive panels in the 20 primary schools in the municipality.
In total, 200 computers, 200 monitors and 139 interactive panels, involving a total investment of 468 thousand euros, were installed in schools and kindergartens in the Far area.
In a statement, far council said that the interactive panels, in particular, "aimed at replacing the interactive whiteboards distributed in primary schools for more than a decade, which are currently obsolete".
The council is also finalizing a procedure to improve the network and electricity in schools too, to improve the operating conditions of the equipment, the interactive panels in particular.
