Vilamoura Marina has won the "Best Portuguese Marina" award for the 13th consecutive year, at the Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2024, held last Thursday in Porto.
The statement released says Vilamoura Marina won again due to "the high level of customer satisfaction at Vilamoura Marina, the quality of the nautical services available, as well as the range of support equipment", highlighting it as an example of success.
Vilamoura continues to be the largest marina in Portugal, with 825 berths, a fully equipped shipyard and a professional sailing training center. It is the stage for many national and international events, such as regattas, Olympic sailing team internships and the popular Vilamoura International Boat Show.
"Receiving yet another award is an immense honour, especially this year, when the Marina celebrates its 50th anniversary," says Isolete Correia, CEO of Vilamoura Marina. "Furthermore, it also represents confirmation that we have the best Marina in Portugal and recognition by a panel of specialised judges in tourism and by the public itself, considering the excellence of our facilities and the services we offer."
The nominees for the Publituris Travel Awards 2024 were chosen by the Publituris editorial team, based on the work carried out throughout the period under consideration (2023), capacity for innovation, media visibility, national and/or international distinctions, official statistical data, among others.
