This 250 year old Alportel Holm Oak tree, São Brás de Alportel, is one of those selected to compete for the title of Tree of the Year 2025.
The beautiful old Azinheira tree, which has been classified as being of public interest since 1942, is 17 metres tall with a trunk circumference of 10 metres.
Voting for the Tree of the Year 2025, can be done online at https://portugal.treeoftheyear.eu/vote from December 7th until December 11th 2024. The winner will be announced on December 17th.
