The Criminal Investigation Squad of the PSP in Faro arrested two young people last week, a 16 year old boy and a 17 year old girl, on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The arrests came as the result of a Special Crime Prevention Operation carried out at an educational establishment, by the PSP. The operation was the result of several reports from local shop owners and residents, stating that several individuals are seen every day, "in a subtle manner", consuming and selling narcotic products.
The Police seized 244 doses of hashish, five bladed weapons and €81.50 from the 2 youngsters.
