Lagos firefighters rescued a woman and her two dogs, when they became isolated near their home due to the sudden rise in water levels after the heavy rains.
According to the bombeiros statement, an intervention team was called to the scene with a vehicle designed for water rescue.
The woman and her dogs were soon brought to safety, with no injuries sustained.
