An aircraft landing at Portimão Aerodrome yesterday afternoon, called in an emergency at 5:38 pm, when one of the engine's failed.
The Portimão Fire Department and Civil Protection teams were dispatched to the scene, but their support was not necessary due to the expertise of the pilot, who was able to successfully and safely carry out the landing using the one remaining engine.
There were no injuries to report.
