This morning, the police seized around 876kg of narcotics from the sea south of Barra do Rio Guadiana, in Vila Real de Santo Antonio.
A statement released by National Maritime Authority stated that "during a patrol, the bales of narcotics heading towards territorial waters of Spain, were collected by Spanish authorites."
The seized narcotics will be delivered to the Judicial Police. The Local Command of the Maritime Police of Vila Real de Santo António took charge of the occurrence.
