A British couple in their seventies suffered serious injuries after being hit by a motorcycle on Monday morning, June 16th, in Lagos.
The couple, who were using a crossing on Avenida da República, were transported by helicopter to Faro Hospital. A Portuguese man was also injured.
This is the second serious accident recorded in less than 24 hours in the Algarve. On Sunday, a 24 year old woman lost her life after being hit by a car in Vilamoura, which apparently skidded off the road on Rua do Sol.
