The Judicial Police have arrested a 38 year old man, suspected of several crimes of sexual abuse of his stepdaughter, aged just 13, and domestic violence against women.
According to the PJ, the investigation began after the “complaint made to this police station last Friday by the detainee's wife who, accompanied by her daughter, reported the crimes of which they had been victims”.
The Judiciary found that, “in addition to facts likely to constitute the crime of domestic violence, which victimized the complainant and her minor daughter, the suspect had also been committing acts of sexual abuse against his stepdaughter”.
“Since 2023, when they lived in the south of the country, and after having emigrated to central Europe in early 2024, the suspect has committed dozens of crimes of sexual abuse with the minor”, say the Judiciary Police.
The “man, displaying disruptive behavior due to the influence of psychoactive substances, took advantage of the influence he had over his stepdaughter to persuade her to perform sexual acts in exchange for gifts and material goods.”
The arrest was made by the Northern Directorate of the Judicial Police, with the collaboration of the Southern Directorate.
