A construction worker on Rua Diogo Tavares, in Tavira, near the Tavira Gran Plaza Shopping Center, was killed yesterday afternoon after being hit by a falling crane.
The alert was given at 2:46 pm, with 18 emergency crew members from the Tavira Municipal Fire Department, INEM and PSP dispatched to the scene, in seven vehicles.
One minor injury was also reported, but was treated at the scene.
