A 63 year old man died on the Porto de Mós beach at Lagos on Saturday, August 16th, after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest.
The alert was given at 4:55 pm, and elements of the “SeaWatch” Project, the Lagos Maritime Police Local Command and the INEM Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle (VMER) immediately went to the scene
Upon arrival, they found that the man was already being assisted by members of the Lagos Volunteer Firefighters, but despite the resuscitation maneuvers carried out, the man passed away.
The body was transported to the Portimão Forensic Medical Office, and the Maritime Police Psychology Office are providing support to family and friends.
