AC/DC will present its latest album "Rock or Bust" in Portugal in May next year.
The Australian band will kick off its European tour in Algés, Oeiras on May 7th next year.
The tour dates were announced today on the band’s official website and "Rock or Bust - the World Tour" will end on June 12th in Denmark.
Tickets for the Portugal concert will go on sale on Christmas Day and cost from €65. The band start its tour in the US in February.
AC/DC formed in 1973, first played in Portugal in 1996, and secondly some 13 years later in 2009 for a concert in front of 40,000 fans.
U2’s management confirmed today that the Irish band will not be playing in Portugal in 2016 as they had hoped.
Although the band’s promoter has been in negotiation, it looks like a ‘no’ for a return after a 5 year gap.
"We never confirmed any concerts. There were negotiations and conversations, but, for various reasons, a concert can not be confirmed,” according to promoter Álvaro Ramos.
