Do you not agree that the sea gull situation is quite serious? I do not believe a day does not go by without my clearing up “bombings” either on our apartment balconies and/or windows. This year for the first time since 2007 we have a nest, and related “Youngster Droppings” on the terrace, plus very aggressive attacks from either Mum or Dad gull. Very intimidating!
A short poem...
A LOTTA OF GAIVOTA
A four letter word that ends with “IT”
Found in bird cages, and I don’t mean GRIT”!
We in Armaçao , seem to have a “lotta”
From birds not “caged”, but wild gaivota
To add things worse, they have a terrible screech
And seem to prefer buildings as opposed to the beach
So isn’t it time we took action to tell them all so
Stop doing your “droppings” of (portuguese)”COCO”!
The times I have removed “in flight bombing”; makes me say
Can’t we take some sort of action to keep them away?
For the only good thing I have read that they do
They devour, and there’s stacks of it; yep “DOGGIE POO”!
