An Italian woman was found dead along with an injured man, this Saturday, inside the womans house in Olhão. The circumstances are suspicious.
Authorities found the body of a 66 year old-old woman in the bedroom of her home, showing signs of aggression.
The firefighters broke in through the door of the victim after the family contacted the Portuguese authorities from Italy, warning that she had been unable to establish contact with the woman for several days.
The 83-year-old Italian man was also found in the bedroom, and was transported to Faro hospital with minor injuries.
The man is being questioned by the authorities. The case was handed over to the Judiciary Police (PJ), which has so far not detained anyone.
