The GNR of Paderne, along with Albufeira Criminal Investigation Center (NIC), have arrested a man and a woman aged 58 and 71, respectively, for drug trafficking after discovering Cannabis greenhouses just outside Paderne.
In the operation, 349 doses of cannabis and 10,000 euros were seized.
The GNR statement says during a patrol, the authorities verified “the existence of greenhouses for growing cannabis in the Paderne area, which triggered “several police investigations to be initiated, culminating in the execution of a house search warrant, resulting in the arrest of the two suspects and the seizure of 349 doses of cannabis, 10,000 euros in cash and four mobile phones”.
The detainees will go in front of the Judicial Court of Portimão, for the application of coercive measures.
