Pingo Doce has just opened its first store in Vilamoura, allowing the creation of 70 new jobs.
The new store provides a more sustainable shopping experience, through reusable eco mesh bags and trolleys. Customers can also take their own packaging and boxes to use in the Charcuterie or Take Away, for example.
As part of Pingo Doce's social responsibility policy, the Vilamoura store will support the local community by donating food to social solidarity institutions.
The 1200 m2 store benefits from plenty of natural light, and has food at the center of the shopping experience of those who visit. The Comida Fresca restaurant at the entrance to the store has free-service cafeteria and bakery, with hot bread baked throughout the day and a wide variety of fresh products, including modern Butchery and Fishmonger sections, and digital screens with product information.
With 100 seats, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, prepared in a traditional way and with the freshest ingredients, to eat on the spot, order or take home with all the convenience. From more traditional dishes, such as duck rice or fritters to roast chicken and vegetarian options, the restaurant has daily menus with options for all tastes.
Pingo Doce de Vilamoura, located in Lot 6.I. B/3, Estrada de Albufeira, in Quarteira, and has a car park with 112 spaces.
