Motorist, Anders Wiklöf, was fined €121,000 for speeding at the weekend, driving at 82km per hour where the maximum limit was 50km.
The offence took place in an autonomous region of Finland in the Baltic Sea, the Åland Islands, where fines are calculated based on the offender's income.
Wiklöf reportedly told the main newspaper of the region that he is "very sorry about what happened."
In addition to the fine, the driver's license was also suspended for a period of 10 days by the police.
This isn't the first time Anders Wiklöf has been caught speeding by authorities. In 2013 he received a fine of €95,000 and in 2018, he received a fine of €63,000.
The man, originally from Åland, is chairman of a holding company that includes companies in the logistics, helicopter services, real estate, trade and tourism sectors.
