A man was injured in Portimão yesterday afternoon, following a hit and run on Avenida Miguel Bombarda.
The accident occurred on the road that runs from the MacDonalds Drive Thru roundabout to the court house, on Wednesday, July 23rd, just before 2:46 pm when the alert to emergency services was made.
Nine personnel from the Portimão Fire Department, Red Cross and PSP went to the scene to assist the injured party.
After being treated at the scene, the 51 year old man was taken to Portimão Hospital, with injuries considered minor.
Police are asking for any witnesses to please get in touch.
