Egyptair aircraft crashed in the Med - speculation continues as to cause

egyptairA Portuguese civil engineer is among the dead after EgyptAir’s Flight MS804 en route from Paris to Cairo late on Wednesday went off the radar and crashed in the Mediterranean.

The flight had carrying 66 people on board, including two small children and a baby, seven crew members and three members of the company's security team.

Portugal escapes EU fine for budget deficit variance

“We have concluded that this is not the right moment economically or politically to take this step,” said Moscovici today.

Last year 132,000 families in Portugal were unable to pay their full monthly mortgage so, encouraged by the government’s assurance that the banks are being more customer-focused over arrears problems, many asked for some financial and contractual leeway in order to keep the roof over their family’s heads.
